The Miss Florida Pageant is part of the infamous Miss America. Originating in 1921, the Pageants are designed as a scholarship program held each year, open to all woman age 17-24. Its purpose is to provide young woman with a vehicle to further their personal and professional goals and instills  spirit of community service through a very unique nationwide community based programs.
